This is an inordinately attractive and well detailed circular table with gilt ormolu mounts. The gilt ormolu mounts are positively exceptional, each crisply chased and of utmost quality. Unfortunately one of the gilt mounts is missing as pictured. Each leg is embellished with a single rosette opposite the stretcher and terminates in a Lion Paw sabot with handsome toes and sharp claws. Dated C1890.
