This is a magnificent Capodimonte sculpture by one of their most famous artists Bruno Merli. Known as “The Cheats” this is presented on a wooden base and depicts a group of boys seated at a table playing cards, whilst another boy looks on in disbelief at the tricks that are happening. A huge group with the Merli incision to the front and the blue crowned “N” to the back. An exceptional sculpture which is rarely seen for sale.
