18th Century Grandfather Longcase Clock - A333

This is an 18th Cent mahogany longcase clock by Thomas Harrison of Liverpool who worked there from 1773 to 1814. The case is in good condition. The hood has double reeded columns and beautiful verre eglomise panels. The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a most attractive brass dial. It has a subsidiary seconds dial and unusual centre date hand. To the arch is a moon phase indicator with an interesting engraved motto. The movement has been serviced and the clock works perfectly. Guaranteed for 12 months.
