Here we have an unusual standard lamp dating from 1860-1870. The item is simple in style with four interwoven wooden struts that from the main shape of the lamp. It has the original steel tube running through the centre. The item would originally have been gas powered but has been converted to electricity. Has a modern lamp shade on to give it that contemporary feel. Very unusual and very cool.
